Make money while you sleep. Is that possible?

Almost every day while being on Net you may see such splash pages, ads, reviews or emails telling you: “You can make money even while sleeping!” Most of times most of people would think it’s a lie or just impossible. And they are right. Why? In real life only when you go to work and do your job, you get salary. Your company will get income only when your office, shop or warehouse is delivering products or services. Unless you have such business what works 24/7, it seems impossible to earn while sleeping. I would say this statement is true and false at same time! How?

Let’s see what makes it true:

1.  Globalization. Did you ever thought what happening on the other side of our planet when you are going to sleep? Yes, someone is working! When at your country is night, somewhere is day. What’s in it for you? If you want to earn money 24/7, make it global!
2.  Internet. Did you know that Internet has about 2 billion users? In one second internet users create at least 70 domains, 60 new blogs and 1500 blog posts, 320 new Twitter accounts and 600 tweets, 79364 wall posts on Facebook. All this happening in just 1 second! It happens even while you sleep! For example, when I sleep, amount of my Twitter followers is raising.  Internet without doubt has amazing power and if you want to make money while you sleep, you should bring your business or opportunity there!  
3.  Affiliates. There is safety in numbers! When you are one you can make many things, but even if you are highly effective, you have only 24 hours in a day. If you have a team of 10 people, your 24 hours multiplied to 10 people will give you 240 hours. Not bad, right? That’s a power of team. Even in traditional business you will find distributors, dealers and affiliates, because it’s effective. If you will have a downline (referrals, affiliates, distributors, dealers etc.) and you will profit from them, you may take rest knowing your business or opportunity continue to work.

All these factors work to make you money while you sleep, but there is 2 “but”. It still requires action at time when you don’t sleep. For example, if I don’t tweet and don’t raise amount of whom I follow while I m awake, I may not get even 1 new follower while I sleep. The same thing happens with the sales. To see any results in your business, you need to put some effort in it! Firstly give and then take! Other unfortunate fact I need to remind you: still nobody will pay you for sleeping. Does anybody? So take action while you are awake and don’t forget for what kind of actions you get paid (selling, writing, hand crafting etc.).

If we sum all this facts, the answer will be: No, you can’t earn while you sleep if your business is local, has nothing to do with Internet and you don’t have even 1 dealer and Yes, you can make money while you sleep if your business is global, online and has downline.

Don't waste your time with VideoBB, if you want to get paid

Some time ago i was going to write about VideoBB as paid to post opportunity, but that's good it wasn't done! There was times when it was easy way to make money sharing videos and they was paying to members, but just some days ago all payout options was removed from all accounts and as i found in forums, many members wasn't paid last time.

Unfortunately this situation is not uncommon in online world. Today you have proven system to generate income out of Internet, but tomorrow everything disappears like a dream. Some years ago i was working for one new local MLM company (mostly as translator and administrative person) who was giving big hopes to all staff and affiliates. Probably after PayPal frozen account of the company so they wasn't able to do any payouts, they started to change everything. Firstly payment method, then marketing plan, then all other things. Project was on hold. When i saw what they done with previous marketing plan, i realized it's dead and gone! With this i want to say: even if you are in staff and keep abreast with money making opportunity, it does not mean you control everything! There is no guarantee...

If you have been cheated by any scam or by VideoBB (i don't think they was real scam as they was paying well to everybody before, however they went away very ugly), i feel for you, but please don't be upset. There is a lot of other ways to earn money online and offline. If you didn't found your way yet, this blog (and actually all Internet) exists to help you with it!

N.B. Be careful with any opportunity. Before joining anywhere, make a research about it in search engines! Don't pay for anything before you are at least 99% sure it is worth it!

Earn with blog or website (part 2) Search Engine Optimization

Every website or blog needs visitors other words traffic! Without it no sales and no popularity. You may have a lot of great useful content, but if nobody reads it, there is no value. That's why you will surely need SEO (search engine optimization)!

This guide will show you how to make your website visible for search engine spiders, so your targeted market could much more easily find you on Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing etc. as well as you will discover different, but simply ways to promote your home page and increase amount of visitors!

Follow these simple steps:

1. Indexing in Google, Yahoo and others search engines

Of course you can manually submit your website to Google.com/addurl and other search engines Searchenginez, but since there is better and faster way how search engine spiders could find your site and index it automatically, I will not recommend you submitting your URL to any of search engines.

I would recommend to build backlinks on related websites and social websites like Twitter. You can start from going to Google and search for related to your site keywords (for example, if your website is about earning money, you type "earn money" and search). Then visit all websites and blogs from few first pages and if they allow comments and have do-follow links, you comment on relevant post. More information about backlinks here.

2. Website or blog directories

Use web directories (Freewebdirectories) to submit your website to 40 directories at once!

For blog you can use Avangate and submit your URL to 50 blog directories one by one!

3. Link exchange directories

Sign up with this link exchange directories:

Free Link Exchange  

4. Writing articles to article directories

Write some articles according to your webpage theme and place them to some of these directories: Vretoolbar. At the end of article put a link with your web address and it’s done! Or ask your friends or anybody else to write a review for your blog/website and publish it with the link to your website!
 

5. Social networks

Publish your URL in your Facebook, MySpace, Orkut, LinkedIn accounts or other.

If you didn’t opened your account in these most popular social networks yet, then do it! You can also make a group there and promote your website or even business through it!

And don’t forget about Twitter! It’s also great opportunity to tell everybody about your website!

6. Email

Put your website URL to your signature, inviting to visit it! For example:

“I made a website about cars, take a look: www.carsforyoucomfort.com”

7. YouTube

Record your own video and promote your website with it!

8. Other tricks

Publish new content as frequently as you can. Then your visitors will come back to you again and again as well as search engine spiders to check for updates. This way your position in search engine will change for better! 

Ask good ranked websites (with similar theme) to backlink to yours. If you will do it polite and they will response, then you will find your website on Google much earlier and higher then it would happened by just indexing (first step). Some web resources are open to backlink to you!

6 Ways your camera can earn you money!

Taking pictures is your passion? Friends say you are great at photographing and call you cameraman? Why not to earn some income with it?

How? Here are some ideas…

1. Calendars and postcards

Most of people know Anne Geddes, who is making cute pictures of little babies for postcards. She found her niche and she is grate in it! You can also reach such success!

First of all choose your theme. It can be 12 seasons, or cute pets, or cities. Then take pictures according this theme. Then contact calendar publishers and offer your album to them! But remember, it has it own seasonality, so publishers will not accept your pictures at any time!

It could be easier with postcards, especially if you live in province, where are just small publishers. You can make photos of your city or country showplaces. It’s always marketable among postcard publishers! You can add some text to them or some decorative elements like borders. This way you can offer ready to publish product and ask for more money for it!

2. Newspapers and magazines

You can make photo reporting for newspapers. Make some pictures of interesting events or just your city and come to newspapers editorial offices. Even if they will not buy your photos right away, they will know whom to call next time when they will need “fresh” pictures. Newspapers and magazines need a lot of pictures on their theme. They can write around same thing again and again, but pictures shouldn’t repeat! Make different albums with different themes for them or make complete reports (with text) of interesting events or theme. It will make your service complete and will add additional value to your work! Be creative and unique and your pictures will be marketable!

3. Photo stocks

You can sell your photos online too! There are a lot of photo banks where you can upload your pictures for sale! Is there any demand for quality pictures? Yes, there is! Websites, blogs, online newspapers and magazines are always in need for fresh colorful photos and many of them are ready to pay money for them!

What you need to start selling your pictures in such stocks? Good digital camera (many stocks will ask certain quality of pictures), sometimes digital copy of your documents like passport or drivers license copy, at least 15 pictures to start (to pass exams in some stocks you will be asked for about 10 pictures).

But don’t be afraid, it’s not so difficult! Not all photo stocks are so requiring!

www.fotolia.com – no exams and no documents required! Fast to register. Easy to use. Minimal size of picture: 2400х1600. Money withdrawal by PayPal and Moneybookers after you reach 50 dollars.

www.bigstockphoto.com – terms and conditions test required, but test is very easy to pass even without knowing the rules! No documents required. Minimal picture size: 800x800. Money withdrawal after reaching 30 dollars by PayPal, Moneybookers or by check.

www.dreamstime.com – no documents and tests required. Quality of uploaded pictures: not less then 3 MP. You get 50% from every sold picture you uploaded! You can withdraw money after you reach 100 dollars. The limit of uploaded pictures is 100 files per day. 

www.istockphoto.com – one of the most profitable and popular photo stocks. Unfortunately it’s not so easy to start. Firstly you will be asked read the user manual and pass the test about it, then you will need to upload scanned document like passport or drivers license to identify you. After these tests you will need to upload 3 photos made by you. You will be accepted within 2 weeks. If moderators will not like your photos you will be asked to upload another 3 photos. Minimal picture size: 1200x1600. You will get 20% from every sold picture (1-40$), but if you become exclusive photograph and publish only on this stock, then your percent will raise to 40! You can withdraw your money when you reach 100$ in your account by PayPal, Moneybookers, Payoneer or by postal transfer.

www.shutterstock.com – at the moment most profitable image stock, that’s why it’s not easy to enter there. Firstly you need to upload a scan of your passport or driver’s license and then wait about 2 days. After identification you need to pass the exam: 7 out of 10 of your uploaded pictures need to be approved by moderators. But if you don’t pass this exam from the first time, you can do it after 1 month again and again till you pass. There are no limits for trying! For beginners minimal size is 4 MP, but for experienced – 2.5 MP. Format should be jpg or eps. For every download you will get 25 cents, but after you reach 500$ your income will rise to 30 cents per download. It doesn’t look much, but as more you upload as more you will get. For example, if you upload 100 pictures and each of them will be downloaded just 10 times, you will get 250$! Minimum to withdraw – 75$ (via PayPal, Moneybookers or check).

You may think photo stocks pay too less for your images, but it’s better than nothing, right? Your images can just take your disk space or they can bring you some income! It’s up to you what to do with them!

4. Participate in online photo competitions

There are many online contests and competitions for photographers. As a winner award could be money or valuable prizes like professional camera or laptop. Some competitions have participation fee, but some are free to enter. You can find some competitions here:
